Thai Vegan LA

I was here last Saturday for dinner and here is my description of the experience: first of all, the food is some of the best I've had anywhere, including in Thailand. It's very clear that this kitchen is run by Thai people who know how to cook Thai, and whoever actually buys the groceries is doing a great job as well of picking fresh stuff (likely) from asian markets. Flavor is always a combination of preparation (the actual cooking) and quality of ingredients. This place has them both, and the result is expectedly quite good.

Me and my wife discovered this place when our favorite restaurant (maybe our old favorite restaurant after eating here!) down the street had a 45 minute wait. We put our name down and then walked around, saw this place, and cruised in. Immediately we were struck by the sizzling sound of food and the flavors wafting through the air. So we sat down for an appetizer, but quickly decided to stay for the whole meal. No regrets whatsoever. It's amazing we had been going to our old spot for so long and never tried this place. We will definitely be back for another date night.

First visit in December was a pretty amazing experience...but the 2nd visit was disappointing, .... Maybe because they had dine LA dinner going on... the restaurant was crazy busy... Also the coconut water was sketchy extra sweet (could be wrong)
